80th BIRTHDAY

Morning everyone.  Today I am sharing a card using stamps from Clearly Besotted that are the free gift with Issue 75 of Creative Stamping Magazine.  This set is Christmas themed but I saw an opportunity to use one of the stamps to make a seasonal birthday card.

Evening everyone,

A quick card this evening.  I don't usually blog or make cards this late but I have just received my order from the lovely Seven Hills Craft and couldn't wait to have a play around with my new goodies.

I love autumn so have chosen new stamps and embellishments to suit this time of the year.

CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS DT POST ~ SOMETHING SEASONAL

It's a new month and so a new challenge at Creative Inspirations and this month's challenge theme is "Something Seasonal".  We'd like to see you make something celebrating the seasons! So whether you want to stick to a summer theme, indulge in autumnal colours and leaves or make a start on those Christmas cards it's completely up to you!
This month's prize is from Natalie (NGCARDS) and is a bundle of craft goodies!

Unfortunately nobody came forward to claim this prize from April's challenge so it's back up for grabs!
For my card this month I have chosen to go with a CAS summer theme. One of my goals this summer is to make some homemade ice cream.  Something I have never tried before so this card is a bit of inspiration.  I'm also trying out some new inks and stencils, also a new thing for me.

Stencil ~ Clearly Besotted
Ink ~ Versa Color

THANKS FOR BEE-ING THERE

Morning.  So I'm into my second week of trying to blog more often and show my cards.  I must admit I have found it easier to sit down and schedule a few posts at a time.  Let's hope they all publish as set....

For today's card I have got out the watercolour pencils.  It's not a medium I am that confident in using but I thought I would get in some practice as I wanted to create a card with a more subtle effect.

Card ~ Hobbycraft

Watercolur Pencils ~ Derwent Inktense

Stamp & Sentiment ~ MFT ~ Flyby Friends
